Privacy Policy

Last updated September 15, 2026

This policy explains what JustBot collects, why, and what control you have over it, when you create an account or run a bot. It applies to JustBot’s web app, desktop app, and mobile app.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, and billing information.
  • Credentials you give a bot to log into your apps, stored encrypted and used only to run the jobs you ask for.
  • Bot activity: the actions, files, and messages a bot produces while working.
  • Usage and device data: log-in timestamps, browser or app version, and error reports we use to keep the service running.
  • Payment details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us — see Subprocessors below.

2. How we use it

To run the service, bill your account, keep it secure, and improve how bots complete a job. We don’t sell your data or your bots’ activity to third parties, and we don’t use your account data to train models without your consent.

3. Legal basis for processing (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

We process account and billing data because it’s necessary to perform our contract with you. We process bot activity and usage data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service. Where the law requires consent — for example, optional product emails — we ask for it separately.

4. Who can see it

You, and anyone on your team you’ve given access to. Support staff can access bot activity only to help troubleshoot an issue you’ve reported. We share data with the subprocessors listed on our Subprocessors page, each bound by contract to protect it and to use it only to provide their service to us.

5. International transfers

JustBot is based in the United States. If you’re located elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the US and other countries our subprocessors operate in. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard for those transfers.

6. Data retention

We keep account and bot activity data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period after closure to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. Deleting your account removes credentials immediately and schedules the rest of your data for deletion.

7. Security

Credentials are stored encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to staff who need it to operate the service, and every access to a customer’s bot activity is logged. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we can’t guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, restrict or object to some processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. California residents have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we don’t sell or share it. You can exercise most of these rights yourself from account settings, or by contacting us below; we’ll respond within the time your local law requires.

9. Children

JustBot isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We’ll post updates here and change the date above. If a change is material, we’ll email the address on your account before it takes effect.
